Gary Yost’s “wisdom teacher” project is an important new use of technology. When done well, the VR experience allows two souls to communicate, it allows love to come through.

The WisdomVR Project is a step beyond in terms of media... Unlike a video or movie theater, there's nothing intruding to remind you that your experience is not really happening. The sense of technology disappears and you feel like it's a real situation.

We have been dreaming of a way to capture a hologram of us and this is way more than we ever could've asked for. It's like a miracle, and although technology is a big part of it we want everyone to know that Gary Yost is really coming from his heart, he's in service to make this available to the world.

I am delighted to be able to share my 97-year-long story with my grandchildren and my great, great grandchildren who will have the experience of sitting right here with me. I was so impressed with the medium that I bought an Oculus Go headset!

Gary Yost is creating holographic teaching experiences for viewing on a 3D headset. It seems as if you are in the same room as the person who is speaking directly to you. I saw one by Ram Dass, which impressed me with its deeply personal and expressive qualities and prompted me to spend time with Gary to make a dharma talk.

The Wisdom VR Project, plus a virtual reality headset, provides an intimate connection that is unavailable any other way. The storyteller sits right in front of us, talking directly to us. Gary has created an effective way to capture and retain unforgettable and important moments.
